"Sense and Sensibility": Good love always requires reason to balance emotions

When I was free on the weekend, I watched "Sense and Sensibility" again. With the joys and sorrows of the two heroines, my mood was constantly ups and downs.

Closing the book, there is a sentence circling in my mind: A good love always needs reason to balance emotions.

In England in the 18th century, the inheritance of family property was passed on to the male and not the female. This way of inheritance of wealth has left women in a weak position in marriage and love. If their father dies, they can only rely on meager alimony, and marrying a "rich man" has become the only way for women to change their poverty-stricken lives.

But no matter how unfair the social reality is, there is always a girl in Jane Austen's work.

They are beautiful, kind, and may have different personalities, but they all have one thing in common: longing for love and believing in love, they value a man's connotation more than the property he can inherit.

"Sense and Sensibility" is a story that takes place in this social context.

When his father died, sister Eleanor and sister Marianne could only get the most basic living expenses, and the inheritance was all given to their half-brothers, including the house they lived in, and they had to be handed over to their elder brothers.

They were homeless and had to find the cheapest hut to rent.

Sister Eleanor had an understanding of things and a cool judgment, she had a wonderful heart, soft character and strong feelings, and she knew how to control them.

Eleanor meets the honest and kind Edward. In her eyes, he was kind and respectable.

But when Edward was in college, because he was too young, he recklessly engaged Miss Slucy privately.

When he met Eleanor, he knew how much he loved her.

In Marianne's eyes, love should be passionate and desperate. This is Marianne's view of love.

When the loyal and prudent Colonel Bo met Marianne for the first time, she was playing and singing in front of the piano.

However, Marianne felt that Colonel Boo was a bit old and boring, and although Colonel Boo was a bachelor, it was not the love she wanted. Marianne turned a blind eye to Colonel Bu's overtures.

When Marianne falls in the rain, she meets Willie, the hero who saves beauty. When Wei Lebi picked her up from the rain, Marianne looked at Wei Lebi with light in her eyes, and she felt that was the love she wanted.

Afterwards, Marianne told her sister excitedly and excitedly:

And just like that, he abandoned Marianne.

Marianne was wounded, she was seriously ill in the rain, and nearly died. Colonel Bu stayed with Marianne all the time. After busying herself, she took Marianne's mother from the countryside, hoping to help Marianne.

When Marian walked away from the gate of hell, she finally saw the goodness of Colonel Bu, and found Colonel Bu's kindness, stability, elegance, and his broad-mindedness. She accepts Colonel Boo's love.

She grew up in love, and when she was walking with her sister, she was able to look at the past between William and her with relief: but would he be satisfied if he married me? Even if you have a loved one but are penniless, you may soon think about money first and then love.

On the lawn outside the window, Colonel Bu recited a poem for Marianne, who was recovering from a serious illness:

The earth has not changed, it remains the same,

Fortunately, both sisters and sisters finally got a happy ending.

In the face of love, girls are roughly in two situations: rational and emotional .

    It's really only a Chinese director who can make Jane Austen make an eight o'clock file. Screenplay by Emma Thompson, really awesome. Mr. Li An did make a "top-of-the-line movie", and he was so precise that he couldn't fault it, especially the detailed scheduling was perfect. Perhaps it was so craftsmanship.     More charming than the original. Delicate and full storytelling until the last "then you are not married" wow screams, as always, calm and forbearance into the excitement of opening up the world, followed by a happy ending that is both hopeful and disappointed.
