Sense and Sensibility Post-production

During the filming process, there was originally a scene where Brandon found his illegitimate daughter who was seriously ill in a poor area of London, but it was cut out. Thompson’s script contains a scene where Eleanor and Edward kissed, because the production company felt that the two people who had been watching so all the way had never kissed, but this became the first batch of cuts in the post-editing process. Paragraph one: The originally completed version is longer than three hours. Ang Lee hopes to reduce the weight of the love story in the plot. Thompson also feels that this shot is a bit inappropriate, but this part of the content is still included in the movie's promotional materials and trailers. Thompson and Dolan also decided to cut out the scene of Willoughby showing remorse during Marianne’s illness. Dolan said that although this is “one of the greatest scenes in the history of the novel,” it was put together with the film. It doesn't look good.
