Wall Street, arguably the symbol of the world's financial world, is full of money, greed and desire. I haven't watched Oliver Stone's first Wall Street movie 20 years ago, but this second one didn't feel good to me.
The movie tries to use the old Michael Douglas to interpret the greed and desire of Wall Street, but what is more impressive is the love and warmth of Jack and Winnie, including the last Gordon after watching the image of his grandson still in the womb of his daughter Winnie, The scene where he came to tell and decided to return the $100 million to Winnie. Or maybe all this is actually what Oliver Stone wanted to tell people.
