The choice in life's predicament is our life

I think not everyone in this world is in a difficult situation all the time, but how a person in a difficult situation chooses can determine the appearance of life.

Father's plight, unemployment, divorced. The plight of my brother, drug addiction, and dropping out of college. Conor's plight, being bullied at the new school, being bullied by the headmaster, and a girl who can't catch up.

His father divorced and bought a house, his brother walked out of the house, and Conor's way of fighting the predicament was music. To be honest, the band's emergence from nothing is really lightning fast. From Conor's smashing a band to a band that can actually make a video, it only takes a week. Although this is a nonsense band, Conor and Rabbit? The little brother is serious about writing and singing. Chase if you like, do what you say, and look to the future, that's Conor's way of fighting the predicament.

Life's predicaments can't be generalized and can't all be solved with music, but it may be more helpful to get out of the house and do something practical, creating instead of consuming.

Also: I watched "The Life of the Disgusted Matsuko" yesterday, and I really played a good hand, but I can't blame it, because I can't comment on my own situation, but I always think that in Matsuko's life, Could there be a time, out of the room, into the world, and doing something to rewrite the ending?

Finally: Rabbit? The little brother is really a little angel! Make a band, okay, I can do anything. Let me play a chord for you. Write a song, please feel free to accompany you anytime. Sing a slow song, okay, I'll play the piano. Let's play the last song together! Such a good friend who silently accompanies and supports really makes people want to hug. The key is to look good!

Two people playing the piano and writing songs are as beautiful as a picture
The last performance, touching

Sing Street quotes

  • Conor: It's like, when you don't know someone, they're more interesting. They can be anything you want them to be.

    Eamon: Yeah?

Conor: But when you know them, there's limits to them.

  • Eamon: So how do you mean you're "happy-sad"?

Darren: Yeah, how're we supposed to market that?

Conor: It means we're not pop anymore.

Eamon: We were pop? Listen, I'm happy being anything. I just want to play music.

Conor: That's fine. Be who you are, Eamon.

    Eamon: Well, I don't know who I am. Maybe I'm happy-sad, too. I don't know.
