Another ordinary day, high school life always makes people ignore the arrival of a new day.
On the school playground, the camera stops in one corner, with no focus changes. Students pass through the camera, running and playing. An ordinary and somewhat vulgar girl ran past the camera, then ran back to the camera, raised her head and stared at the blue sky, stood there for a long time, and smiled happily... The lonely boy walked out of the teacher's office, the camera followed from behind Looking at him, the long lens watched him silently and indifferently. The boy was sobbing alone in an empty classroom. A girl approached him and kissed him on the face comfortingly... Another boy, who was fond of taking pictures, carried his camera at all times, and walked peacefully on the campus for the purpose of taking pictures. Photographic exhibition shoots... Boys and girls in love walk hand in hand in the school corridor, chatting about trivial matters... Between three good sisters, sometimes they talk freely, sometimes they quarrel fiercely... Life in high school It's so hurried, tranquil, rough but full of texture.
That's it, as usual, this bland day is filled with homework, football, gossip and more. However, at the moment of the gunshot, youth was doomed to be frail and hopeless.
More than 100 minutes of calm were broken when the two boys gamely fired at the crowd. The girl fell, the boy pressed the shutter and the gunshots sounded again. People fled like crazy, but they fell one after another, and the blood smeared the ground... The corners of the two indifferent killers showed a satisfied smile. There is no anger, only compassion.
The end is also the sky, with constantly changing clouds. As if nothing had happened in the middle... Beethoven's piano melody sounded lonely, as calm, desolate and sad as the boy who shot the gun sitting quietly by the piano and playing. Thinking of that spinning shot, inadvertently the picture of the elephant flashed, the camera continued to spin and the elephant flashed again, then disappeared...the elephant appeared in the living room, and people either pretended it couldn't be there , or thought it wasn't a real elephant.
Ignoring reality... People struggle with powerlessness and heartache when faced with it.
I think the director knows their pain, a person's youth is not always as beautiful and happy as later recall, that's when a person first begins to establish his own world - love, friendship, responsibility, sex, Self-identification - all kinds of problems came up, and because she was really young, her heart was particularly delicate and sensitive, and a little bit of hurt would hurt her heart. Always trapped in their own excessive inferiority complex and pride. No one can help, all the struggle and confusion are only yourself.
So everything we see is a quiet, cold picture, a lonely back. Silently watching the film, silently enduring my youth...
