"CRASH" feels a bit reluctant under its reputation, especially after watching a film like "ELEPHANT" that is calm and emotionless. The director makes the audience feel like they are just a pair of eyes in the time line, calmly and almost indifferently watching the characters in the event walk around or stop in the seemingly messy time relationship, and the rhythm does not change until the massacre begins. And it is this kind of emotionally flat, time-chaotic handling that gives viewers a greater sense of shock when the subtitles are placed on the wall. In short, if you want to score, "ELEPHANT" > "CARSH" is certain.

[We've been following Benny down the hallway and watch as he comes upon Eric berating and standing over Mr. Luce]
Eric: Yeah, you did, and I should shoot you right now for it, you know I should. Eric: [Mr. Luce gets up and runs for his life. Eric changes his mind and shoots him down] Bitch!
