Damon's performance and Robert's director were double surprises. Big coffee gathered, low-key good film. One of the main deficiencies I feel is that "Edward's love for honor was planted because of his father's suicide" in the introduction was not well reflected in the film. The whole film has been in a sad atmosphere. He has never had true love, friendship, family affection, and has never lived his own life. My life is full of surprises, this sentence is really ironic. Halfway through watching, I couldn't help but have several questions like this in my heart. I didn't think Edward was a politician who was very ambitious about power. Why did he choose to go this way? Is this really what he wants to do?

2007-01-13 Jolie and Matt Damon's new film. It can be said to be a biography of the founder of the CIA CIA. Three hours, intricate relationships between characters, and it's hard to remember the faces of foreigners... If you hadn't read many reviews, you wouldn't know what this good movie is about. Coincidentally, I just watched Oliver Twist, and Dickens was mentioned here today.

Edward Wilson: And then he said, "Don't ever lie. Cause you lie to your friends they won't trust you. And you will have nothing. And you'll never be safe."
Edward Wilson: He told me to go downstairs and watch the fireworks because they'd started. And then he shut the door.
Edward Wilson: The sound of the gunshot was very different from the sound of the fireworks and even at six years old I knew that was a big, big difference. And there was a lot of blood. And in his left hand he held a note that was sealed.
Edward Wilson: I don't know why, but I took the note and I put it in my pocket. I always said it was an accident. It wasn't an accident. My father killed himself.
