Childhood nostalgia

Goosebumps series of novels are also my childhood. These novels are not so much horror novels as fantasy novels. They are not scary but very fascinating. At the time, they were borrowed from the school library. There were more than ten books in the library. The book is incomplete, and I have forgotten most of the stories. The only thing that impresses me is that the little girl feels that she is haunted, and finally realizes that she is a ghost. This kind of plot is not unusual now, but it was really shocking back then. Ah, the movie put my favorite story in the protagonist's camp, which is Hannah. I am very happy and it touches me very much.
The movie is actually average, but from the perspective of the original work, it has successfully summarized this series of monsters. The novelist created monsters because he was isolated and not gregarious, and because he wanted someone to accompany him, he created a daughter. I like this very much. Setting, I also envy this ability.

It's better than expected, a bit like "Jumanji", and the humor of the movie is very self-deprecating, and for those who have read the "Goosebumps" series of books, this idea is good, a collection of R. L. Stein's pen All the monsters are making trouble in the town, which is definitely many times more fun than the adaptation one by one, which increases its entertainment. But there are still flaws in the story. The first half hour is too long-winded, and some leftovers can be deleted.

Goosebumps quotes

  • Hannah: Come on, open the book.

Zach Cooper: Hannah, there's something that you need to know and you're not gonna...

    Hannah: Open the book, Zach.

Zach Cooper: No, no. You don't understand. If we open the book, that means...

Hannah: It means I'll be stuck on a shelf someplace forever.

    Zach Cooper: You knew?

Hannah: How many sweet sixteens can one girl have? Zach, it's time to move on. Now open the book, scaredy-cat.

  • Hannah: There you are. Are you okay? You look like you just saw a ghost.
