Camelot

The so-called Camelot should be Jackie's fictional interpretation of the life of the first lady. I believe that her grief and many demands after her husband's death are more from her reluctance and farewell to Camelot, not All because of Kennedy's death. After all, she still has a friend who knows everyone - Monroe! The film is divided into three lines to show Jackie before and after Kennedy's attack. What is impressive is the anxiety, anger, despair, and progressive emotions that Natalie Portman performed on the first night after Kennedy's death. applaud!

Mist as melancholy, blood as viscous

Very good, JFK related is not easy to shoot, except for the conspiracy theory angle, I feel that everything happened too fast, and it is not enough as a film material. The film expands more material from Jackie's feelings and experiences than the event itself. The director is quite good, and the cross-editing is relatively smooth. The scenes after the funeral were so good, I was still in tears. Bobo did a great job.

Jackie quotes

  • Jackie Kennedy: There are two kinds of women, those who want power in the world and those who want power in bed.

  • The Priest: There comes a time in man's search for meaning when one realises that there are no answers. And when you come to that horrible, unavoidable realization, you accept it or you kill yourself. Or you simply stop searching... I have lived a blessed life. And yet every night, when I climb into bed, turn off the lights, and stare in to the dark, I wonder... Is this all there is?

    Jackie Kennedy: You wonder?

The Priest: Every soul on this planet does. But then, when morning comes, we all wake up and make a pot of coffee.

Jackie Kennedy: Why do we bother?

The Priest: Because we do. You did this morning, you will again tomorrow. But God, in his infinite wisdom, has made sure it is just enough for us.
