The male protagonist is amazing and reminds me of vampires, this movie is like another version of "Sweeney Todd", just as dark and British, except that Todd the Sweeney is out for revenge, and Dorian Gray has a slowly decaying soul.
The shots throughout the film are beautiful, especially the scene where Dowling is dating Miss Vane by the river, vane's curly blond hair, and white skirt; Dowling's handsome profile and slender body, and never will The lost youthful face does have a fatal attraction.
In the film, the artist Brasil and Dowling's broken relationship, I had a hunch in the first few scenes, but I didn't expect Dowling to kill him. The yellow scarf stained with blood was very dazzling. Who told him to bear the original sin, that oil painting is a pathway for Dorian's soul to corruption.

That beautiful young man who was standing in London station, full of curiosity about everything, began to degenerate as the welts on his back disappeared. This is clearly a tragedy.
