"American Style Painting" George Lucas's 1973 work, the producer is still Francis Ford Coppola. In the 1960s in the United States, high school students swayed their youth wantonly. Prom, street racing, love, university, farewell... everything beautiful. As Kurt went to university on a long journey, the sky left an arc. Immediately after briefly explaining the future of the four protagonists, Kurt became a writer and settled in Canada, Steve became an employee of an insurance company, Terry disappeared in the Vietnam War, and John died in a car accident. The person in the painting passed away early, and the style is no longer there. Soon the Vietnam War broke out and President Kennedy was assassinated... People will miss the United States in the early 1960s, when everyone was only worried about youth. I was amazed at George Lucas' grasp of this subject. I know that he can shoot such a magnificent film as "Star Wars", but I can't expect that his delicate depiction of youth films is also so profound. I really don't feel much about Lucas's "Five Hundred Years Later", but "American Style Painting" gave me a big surprise. From the point of view of musical films, it is successful; from the point of view of youth films, it is profound; from the point of view of comedies, it is unparalleled. A small detail was also captured. The license plate of John's car in the film is THX138. And the actor number of the sci-fi film "Five Hundred Years Later" shot by Lucas in 1971 is TXH1138. Lucas really did not forget his first movie. As much as you like "Star Wars", you like "American Style Painting" as much as you like. Well, this is the best American youth movie I have ever seen. Not only because of George Lucas, but because of the best Harrison Ford.
