#Peach Blossom Island Movie Group#
This is a romantic film with neat play and putting hope on the screen.
The first thing that left a deep impression on me was the lens movement and focus changes of the film, which timely, skillfully and accurately conveyed the state of the characters and the relationship between the characters (the photographic viewpoint and editing are also very cleverly combined, and the video space of the vlog itself , the viewer's point of view and the real space where the shooter is located, the multi-dimensional audio-visual expression is more recognizable in a movie theater);
The second is the soundtrack, whether it is the melody or the lyrics, the design is well-designed, although a little more, but the emotional level is within my acceptable range (mainly the song is good, corresponding to the scene).
Then there is the overall rhythm of the film, without delay, in line with the audience's expectations and perceptions. Although there are some places that make me feel a little abrupt, such as Xiaobo's sudden death and Will's final departure, it is innocuous and reasonable. Coupled with the sincere and superb performances of the actors, it also adds a lot to the film.
American movies are well-versed in the psychology of the audience, and the plot points are set just right, especially the foreshadowing and reversal. In this regard, "Hello, Li Huanying" has also done a good job (probably because of the director's background as a sketch actor), which is worth learning.
There are also things that impress me emotionally. One is the attitude towards life and life, because there is love, life is worth cherishing; because of being alive, I have to participate in life and manage life; the second is love, I think love at the age of seventeen or eighteen is really true. Young and beautiful, young feelings and young bodies are so real and moving; coupled with their own illnesses, this love is a lot heavier. Not being together in the end, not having those bits and pieces, it's fine.
Maybe the reality will be more cruel, there are not such excellent medical conditions, there are not so cute boys and girls. Despite all human conditions, they still have similar emotional cores. We all know that "hope" is difficult to give directly from others, and to a greater extent, it is truly obtained in the process of interaction with the world and with others. But this kind of film, at least let people see hope.
