I remember when I was in the library in my freshman year, I flipped through an anthology similar to the banned films in history, and this film was listed in it. Can't remember what was written at the time. But I guarantee that the text is as nonsensical as this film.
A man cuts a woman's eye with a razor. The moon is cut off. Lovers dressed as maids with boxes hanging upside down on the side of the road. The hands that have been crawling with ants. Ants and armpit hair. A graceful and sad woman holds the box and the hand on the ground. The woman was hit by a car. Busty boobs yy. Animal carcasses and servants on the piano. Hand squeezed by the door. Abandoned maid outfit. A book that transforms into a pistol. The naked back of the woman before her death. Bodies are buried carelessly in the garden. Transferred armpit hair. Romantic beaches and beach immortal corpses.
Interspersed before and after. no idea.
Box. The diagonally striped box was never opened. However, it appears on the neck of a woman's lover and in the arms of a man's lover. All died in a car accident. Whether it means good innocence or some kind of scarce item that is held in love.
Ant. The ant-covered hand symbolizes sin. And sin stems from an evil desire for breasts or buttocks.
Armpit hair. Ants transform shots into a woman's armpit hair. This may be where women are private and ashamed. A man wipes his lips, but a woman's armpit hair turns into a man's face. From privacy to grandeur. This process takes women from doubt to surprise. This has the same behavior as the previous forced stroking, but has the opposite effect.
In short. This film was very well made in that era. Even now. It may not be possible to have such a good work with such a messy logic.
I admire this director and this film very much, but I can't help but say, a bunch of shit!
