In the film, the abuse of a German soldier when he urinated on the male protagonist and Borg's "extraordinary behavior" also gave me some feelings. Yes, the suffering Jews can endure everything in order to live. Does it also show that they can do anything in order to live, including some things that violate the law and morals?
I don't mean to insult the Jews here, I just think of our common people in the war of resistance against Japan, the vast number of common people and people in villages that can be controlled by a few Japanese soldiers or towns that can be controlled by dozens of Japanese soldiers. How similar are the Jews in the concentration camps, there is no real resistance, no courageous determination to change the status quo, only stoic life, only faithful prayer.
