Humanity beyond life

Today, I listened to Mr. Dai's class and analyzed "The Postman".

Only then did I know that the male protagonist was a very famous comedian in Italy, and he really wanted to play a role that could move him.

Before taking the role, Ben was scheduled to have heart surgery, so the surgery was postponed.

He died of a heart attack fourteen days after the filming was completed. ??? I prefer this poster, it doesn't use the heroine's chest as a selling point, just because of this young mario on this island.

You taught me metaphors, told me about Dante and the poets, and taught me poetry.

And I recorded the waves of this island, the wind of this island, the bells of this island, the heartbeat of this island, and the me of this island for you.

do you remember me? The poet who changed my life.

"And it was at that age...Poetry arrived / in search of me. I don't know, I don't know where it came from, from winter or a river / I don't know how or when / no ,they were not voices, they were not words, nor silence / but from a street I was summoned / from the branches of night / abruptly from the others, among violent fires / or returning alone / there I was without a face / and it touched me." After watching the Fall in Love with Neruda series (but it may indeed be the best movie about writing poetry I've ever seen.

This film tells us that the tragic, rich, handsome, and silly way of learning, although you can get a soft girl for a while, but it will eventually become cannon fodder to eat lunch earlier. The scenery and music are good, and it could have been awarded for three stars, but considering that the character Neruda in the film has various wonderful actions comparable to Guo Lao in reality (dedicating poems to Stalin, and writing hymns to Batista and Castro respectively, saying that Lenin is the century Genius, Khrushchev immediately turned against Stalin after the report), still one star.

The Postman quotes

  • Pablo Neruda: We poets are all fat.

  • Pablo Neruda: Even the most sublime ideas sound ridiculous if heard too often.
