The fate that no one can escape

National Day of Mourning. The heroic spirits sacrificed above are respected, the living beings who have been sacrificed are respected below, and the conscience of the world is respected in the middle. "They Don't Get Old Anymore". In a way, this is probably the best documentary I've ever seen. Real footage re-edited, with veteran narration, immersive and advanced. The First World War was perhaps the most tragic and arduous war in human history; what is even more regrettable is that no side was just. Nationalism and the people's love for the country have only risen for sixty years, sending countless people to their graves. The birth of nationalism is much shorter than most people think, but no one in this world can leave it now. To spend a lifetime in the prisoner's dilemma generated by the vicious competition of multiple nationalist emotions is already the fate that no one can escape.

Unexpectedly, Peter Jackson actually made such a Compilation Film! Going back to the image itself, I firmly believe in the witness function of the camera to history, and use the film to hold the sacrifice for the deceased. On the one hand, movies are used to show people's madness and death in wars, and on the other hand, movies are used to launch resistance, so that the unknown dead in history can live forever in the film.

The only reason you love war is that you haven't participated in war. War will never end itself. The only thing that can end a war is life.
