Politicians and War

Politics is a Game of Thrones, and it's scary! "Power is a magical thing. With it, even the smallest person can emit thousands of golden lights!" They are all young boys. They are infected by the slogan of defending the country and serving the country. They don't know what war is. But after the experience, they know that war is pointless. It is just a tool for politicians to consolidate and expand their rights. As I mentioned in "1917", the grassroots soldiers just want to go home alive. Why and how to fight are not what they consider. Complete the orders given by the superior, charge to kill the enemy, siege the city, and survive, that's all. Whether hostile or not, warriors have the same heart, they are just pawns for politicians to keep moving forward.

Killing is the instinct of animals. The reason why people are human is that they have ideas, systems, ideals and beliefs to suppress their own animality. The war just wiped out people's thoughts, systems, ideals, and beliefs. Oppose all wars for the sake of rights, and wish the world will never have wars, and peace will last forever.

The visual shock brought by the restoration technology was soon covered by the shock of the war itself, and the true face of the war came to my face. The voice-over book is very well written, novelist level. The individual pictures are terrifying and not suitable for children.

Good to be good, but due to the limitation of materials, this anonymous conversation of one person and one sentence can reproduce the perspective of a soldier in a broad sense, but at the same time, it also loses the more powerful effect that one or two specific narrators can bring. Good empathy, and somewhat fragmented.

  • Soldier: You don't look, you see. You don't hear, you listen. You taste the top of your mouth. Your nose is filled with fumes and death. But the veneer of civilization has dropped away.
