Counting Lonely Mary in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter

Mary, holding loneliness, chasing friendship, fantasizing about love, has endured the four seasons of the year.
Autumn
If I choose the beginning of this film, I will choose Autumn. Autumn is a season of waiting for death. Before facing death, what people want is always the purest. Mary is like that. She cares about herself in the eyes of others. In the fall, she still visits the Jerrys, but this time it seems a little different. With a vague agreement, she felt she didn't need to bring red wine. Because wine is a kind of courage, she feels she has it. What I didn't want to get was a bolt from the blue. After all, she is an old woman. In front of the incomparably youthful Katie, she is so chatty, so stingy, so vicissitudes, so ugly. She risked losing her friendship by teasing Katie over and over again in hopes of getting Joe's attention. As a result, she returned home in despair, she wanted a glass of her own red wine, and she still carried the unwritten agreement with Joe. Her heart is like the autumn that is walking towards death outside the window. She has lost everything, friendship, love, and even the appearance that she has always cared about, just waiting for the arrival of winter.
The Winter and Spring
film sets the scene for winter to die. The oldest Rooney appeared. Uninvited Mary visits Jerry with a redemptive heart. Xu is too eager to get rid of loneliness, and she is more close to Rooney, who speaks less. She felt that she was young, even beautiful, in front of him. This kind of age advantage did not require external demonstrations. So she, who has always been dressed up, is extremely casual at this moment. Did her heart die like winter? The film ends with Mary's helpless eyes. Another year, she is still lonely, but in the spring, she can cover up her aging face with fat powder, and use clothes to set off her still bumpy figure. Spring is the season of lust, she can still meet a man in any bar in London, and then look at him with a slightly provocative look, maybe that man is waiting for her young girlfriend, maybe that man is also like her The same, guarding loneliness.
summer
Summer belongs to women. In her work "Summer Before Dark", Doris Lessing tells us a story of a woman cheating in the summer through the perspective of women. The woman in summer is always beautiful. In this season, she can make her own choices. Mary visited Jerry with red wine, and her words increased, and her words revealed confidence. This confidence gave her the courage to ask Jo about the last subject of the woman's hands. She took a casual tone, "How old do you think I am?" Joe, thirty years old, an age that fascinates women, but in the face of Aunt Mary's questioning, it shows the childish words of the junior, an understatement. "60" gave Mary an almost destructive feeling. Summer belongs to women, but not to reason. Mary's sanity was almost gone in the summer. She thought she had made a vow with Joe. She didn't care about age. She even thought that she should belong to this younger man in every aspect. She asked Ken in the winter, and although she was still quite critical, it seemed more like she wanted to go back to the summer that made her lose her mind. This summer, she was so close to love, so easy to get rid of loneliness, but she was dizzy by the summer wind, and resolutely rejected Ken's love again and again, she didn't think she was the same age as Ken. People, she herself is much better.
Another year
I wonder if Mary will still repeat her story in the next year. Jerry couldn't help her because they were colleagues and friends. Looking at Mary's scars, year after year, does the Jerry family have some kind of pride in their lives in their misery? They can sit in the shed to hide from the rain, they can grow a field of their own, they have a happy family, and they have reasonable ethics, but their happiness is undoubtedly impacting everyone around them, Mary, Ken, Rooney and the others are all lonely. As relatives and friends, they can only watch the lonely ones fend for themselves. Another year, another lonely year. Mary is still there every season, Rooney is still taciturn, Ken is still dissolute, they are still growing their own vegetables, and the difference is that this loneliness will only get deeper and deeper as time goes on.

All year round, sketch life. good movie

Mike Lee knows how to tell the most precious feelings of human beings. Seasons change like this every year, and the back and forth of life is nothing but the enjoyment and worry of basic necessities of life. The combination of a peaceful home and a happy couple creates a sense of well-being that has not been seen in movies for a long time. My favorite talk show, I can't wait to grow old when I see it. Actually, I really wanted to give five stars, but the fade out at the end was a bit sloppy. Neurotic plus boyish Mary, Tom and Jerry.
