Running in for love is for bravery

I think, when it comes to Pixar's animated films, we will always be full of expectations.

Because whether it has the grand proposition of expressing consumerism and environmental protection like "WALL·E", or the simple background of a clownfish looking for a son like "Finding Nemo", Pixar's animated films use its beautiful and delicate scenes. , Exaggerated and vivid character images, and humorous action dialogue attract the audience. More importantly, we can always witness the spiritual growth of the protagonist in the evolution of the storyline. Humans, animals and even robots are all growing up. They experience family, friendship or love in China, and their sentiments make the audience feel the same.

"Brave" is about the growth of Princess Merida.
At the beginning of the film, we saw the princess riding horses and bowing bows shooting arrows in the wild with the sound of the melodious Scottish organ. This kind of growth experience made her not like ordinary princesses raised in a deep boudoir, but with the pursuit of freedom, The character traits of refusing to be restrained led to her dissatisfaction with her dear mother when she was about to follow the ancient tradition to choose one of the three princes (definitely not riding a white horse) to marry.
Even after she fled recklessly and asked for help from the witch, she happily presented the magic cake to her mother, hoping to change her mind. Unexpectedly, a greater disaster came before her-the dignified queen was cursed and turned into a bear.
As a result, Melida and her mother embarked on a journey of escaping the curse. During this journey, the audience not only burst into laughter because of the compact plot and full of cuteness, but also saw how the mother and daughter went from before. The contradiction of the conflicts and the real understanding of each other: the always elegant and dignified mother has to put down the golden crown as a symbol of status, to catch fish and go to the wilderness to survive; the stubborn and strong daughter also constantly perceives the mother's care in the process.
Finally, when the Kingdom League was about to fall apart because of the escape of a princess, Merida and the queen reached a reconciliation. The mother chose to respect her daughter's choice, and the daughter was no longer arrogant. This naturally resolved the crisis of the alliance, but the queen’s curse had not been eliminated. The last time of the film was given to the mutual protection of mother and daughter in times of crisis, and HappyEnd was used to give the audience an explanation.

Frankly speaking, the plot setting of the film is not novel, and even the old tune is often played, but the truth is still deeply touched:
Although Merida has a deep relationship with her mother and queen since she was a child, she grew up with her mother. Her various demands still made her unbearable, especially when Merida felt that the unexpected marriage had become the fuse for the two of them to break out. However, quarrels and anger cannot solve the problem. Only when each other truly understands each other and makes concessions and compromises can the problem be solved. After all, there is only one emotion of love, but there are thousands of ways to express it.
In addition, Merida also learned to bravely take responsibility in this process, and used a better way to solve the marriage problem and the war crisis caused by it. Compared with the previous physical bravery and growth, mental bravery and growth are more important.

It is worth mentioning that the meticulous work of the creative team and the characteristics of the animation have given the film its unique charm. From the music and costumes that are very Scottish, to the exaggerated and delicate characters that can sell cute and emotional, they have become touching. Good props for the audience complex.
From this point of view, this animated film is enough to be rated as four stars.

My expectation for Pixar is its unique emotions, feelings, details and artistic conception. "Brave Tales" satisfies the emotion and artistic conception. It lacks some of the past feelings and knowing details, but it is definitely not a work that makes it go down the altar. "Be loyal to the heart, chase true love", the stale story, placed in the mother's transformation of understanding the gap between daughters, blooms a fresh and long-lost Pixar touch. Give 5 stars for brain residue fans.
