It's a pure love story

After watching the movie, I am most curious about whether Tommark can stick to his seemingly "alien" love beliefs after recovering from the weakness of cutting his wrists. I love the vision that Magda sees through the telescope at the end of the film, it represents a kind of redemption in her heart. However, I heard that Kieslowski's original filming location version is not like this, but the pessimistic style of the past. The film does not criticize Tommark's voyeurism, so much so that the original motives for the voyeurism are not stated from the beginning. The idealistic simple boy fell in love with the realistic secular woman, and it may not be difficult to understand his desperation to break out of the house and choose suicide under the seduction of Magda. "Why are you doing this, wanting to kiss me?" "No." "Want to have sex with me?" "No." "Want to elope with me?" Maybe it's the question that makes Tommark feel his faith Insulted, he chose to run away. Such idealists may only survive in the movies, but I think the setting of Keith is to make us reflect - is there really no place for Tommark's idealistic love beliefs in such a realistic society?
