past dream

I like Inuyasha since high school. My roommate recommended it, so I went to see it. Who knows, when I look at it like this, I am madly obsessed with it.
From the perspective of the whole story structure, Inuyasha is very simple. It focuses on collecting the jade of the four souls, the love between Inuyasha and Kagome, the love between Inuyasha and Kikyo, the hatred and brotherhood between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, and Sesshomaru and the little girl. Unexplainable emotions. Of course, there is also Inuyasha's biggest villain, Naraku.
The first few episodes were great. Inuyasha and Kagome, from mutual dislike to Inuyasha's careful protection, Kagome's care for Inuyasha. The emotional line is natural, and there is no sense of disobedience at all. Of course, Inuyasha is not perfect either. His feelings for Kikyo made him very confused whether it was true love for Kagome or just a projection of Kikyo's feelings. However, it got a little boring and procrastinating after that.
What Inuyasha hates most is that others say he is a half-demon, and he has been disliked and discriminated against countless times since he was a child. And the biggest contradiction of this is the relationship between him and his brother Sesshomaru. The relics of Inuyasha's father, General Inu, Iron Broken Tooth and Cloud Tooth are two powerful demon swords. Sesshomaru really wants Iron Broken Teeth instead of Cong Yunya, the saving knife. He thinks that his father is too partial to the half-demon Inuyasha and ignores him, and he resents. There is never the slightest emotion for Inuyasha.
But how could the blood relationship be ignored? After a series of events, Sesshomaru found that he could not give up on the half-demon's younger brother, and finally acquiesced to the mutual relationship. Even Inuyasha called his brother he did not object.
Kikyo is actually a very tragic character. She and Inuyasha have a very good memory. Helpless, the monsters interfered (what the monster is, I forgot~), causing a misunderstanding between her and Inuyasha. Kikyo personally sealed Inuyasha, but made a private wish with the jade of the four souls, waiting for the resurrection to meet again. (Chikyo doesn't want to say more~ The more I think about it, the more sad it is)
Naraku is the big villain, there is only one thing I can't forget, and that is his true love for Kikyo.

Inuyasha quotes

  • Renkotsu: So, Big brother, we are all back together at last.

    Bankotsu: Not all.

Jakotsu: You see, the thing is...

Renkotsu: Big brother, the truth is Kyukotsu and Mukotsu were...

Bankotsu: They were killed. Couldn't be helped.

    Renkotsu: You knew already?

Bankotsu: Now Renkotsu, you're the smart one, so you can write.

    Renkotsu: Sure, but write what?

Bankotsu: Let's see. "The time has come to settle old scores. Our vengeance will know no bounds, so perpare to die."... Or something to that effect.

Jakotsu: Do we get to kill people?

    Bankotsu: Yeah. Remember that castle?

    Jakotsu: Why? Should we?

Bankotsu: Yes. The inhabitants of that castle are the deceitful bastards why chopped our haeds off.

  • Jakotsu: I'm glad that they haven't been wiped out by some other lord over the years.

Sango: Yes, otherwise my Companion might not still be there.

Jakotsu: You mean, they still have it?

Sango: Yeah, and now I'll show them how it's used.

Renkotsu: Big brother, will this do?

    Sango: Let's see...

    [reads the letter over]

    Sango: Kohaku!

    Kohaku: Huh?

Sango: Take this letter to the castle for me. Give it to the lord himself.

    Kohaku: Why me?

Sango: You are a Ninja, aren't you?

Kohaku: No, sir, I'm not a Ninja.

Sango: Well, then, what are you?

    Kohaku: I...

    [sighs and looks up]

    Kohaku: I'll take it.

[jumps off the cliff heading for the castle]

Jakotsu: [looks over the cliffs edge and calls out while waving] You take care now, Kohaku.
