A film that successfully turned the theme of crime and robbery into an educational theme.

Spencer, Warren, Eric and Charles wanted to do something different in order to get rid of the boring life of ordinary and unwavering. The target was the theft of books from the Special Collection of the Library of the University of Transylvania. This reckless decision and a series of flawed plans led them one by one into the prison gate. It is different from the general robbery crime blockbuster. They are completely out of the cool fantasy scene from the plan to the implementation of the robbery. It even makes people want to laugh.

But who would have thought that such a funny plot actually exists. The highlight of this film is that the second and second youth in the real case sincerely warned everyone not to challenge the law and morals.

A self-contained style, but a movie is not equal to a real restoration, a movie is a movie.

Although the director was very restless in his efforts, from planning to implementation, to the content of the robbery and finally to the final cancellation, this is the most idiotic robbery in American history! The real narrative part is too preaching, like the stumbled person is writing a memoir, the spirit of stepping on the line that was revealed at the beginning is more real...

American Animals quotes

  • Warren Lipka: Seriously, man, fuck fraternities. The reason to be a part of that is so one day you can walk in the door of an office you never wanna go in to see a guy you never wanna meet, on the hopes that he might give you a job you never wanna fucking do.

  • Spencer: Do you ever wonder, you ended up being born. You, here, and not someone else? Do you ever feel like you're waiting for something to happen, but you don't know what it is? But, it's, that thing that could, um, make your life special.

    Warren Lipka: Like what?

    Spencer: Exactly. "Like what?"
