A story about Guantanamo.

The storyline is actually very simple, and the rhythm is relatively slow. It is about the recruit Amy who came to Guantanamo as a guard. A story with one of the prisoners.

Amy’s hometown is a small town, and there are not as many residents as Guantanamo concentration camp. She has never studied at university, nor did she read much. This is the first time she has left her hometown. She wants to see the outside world.

At this time, the prisoner here has been detained for 8 years, and Amy's duty as a guard here is to keep patrolling to ensure that the prisoner will not commit suicide. Amy was asked not to have any personal information exchange with the prisoners, including names, where they came from, etc. The prisoners did not have names, only numbers. And they are not called prisoners, but detainees, because prisoners are protected by the Geneva Convention.

The first communication between Prisoner 471 and her was about "Harry Potter". He always wanted to watch Harry Potter 7. He wanted to know whether Snape was a good person or a bad person. He waited for three years, some guards told him that there was no book, and some guards told him that they would bring it to him next time. Amy had never read Harry Potter, and thought "Prisoner of Azkaban" was a book in Arab countries. This paragraph is more interesting.

The life of the guards is boring and boring. Like other guards, Amy has also experienced being spit and thrown feces. Of course, the life of prisoners is even more miserable. In a small space, if they violate the system, they will be tossed once every two hours and cannot fall asleep. They will be forced to eat food on hunger strike, and everyone will have scars.

Amy became familiar with 471, what she saw and heard made her sympathize with the prisoner, and 471's experience and knowledge also made her willing to talk to him.

Once guard 471 played in the iron cage, she told him that obedient prisoners could be allowed to play on the real court. 471 said that you promised to give us better treatment, but the price is to conform to the rules you set and conform to your values. This is the last thing I want to do. I want to defend the freedom to live in my own way. What the two people said in this passage actually reflected the greatest conflict between the two countries and the two cultures.

Amy's excessive communication with 471 caused dissatisfaction with her boss. She was dissatisfied with her boss's method of complaining the situation to a higher level and was dismissed. As a soldier, maybe not many people would stay here, but everyone could only obey the order.

Amy's one-year term here is about to expire, and she will be transferred here. One night 471 attempted suicide, and Amy stopped it in time. She told 471 her name and hometown. 471 tells Amy that he is innocent.

In fact, in the end, Amy didn't really understand the more experienced 471. Is he a terrorist or an innocent citizen? Or even if he is a terrorist recognized by the Americans, who is the good person and the bad person on the two opposing parties. 471 tells Amy that their relationship is still a war relationship.

Amy leaves, and the next recruits arrive. Everything is still going on. The only difference is that Amy bought a Harry Potter 7 for 471 and wrote on the cover "I don't know if Snape is a good person or a bad person, but I know you are a good person."

When Cole gave the prisoner the right to "choose", the emotional impact began to be strong. Peyman Moadi also played well. I couldn't help but see him crying while squatting. It was a heartbreaking ending. The HP stems that run through the film are well buried, and the crying hero will cry Snape again. Little K played Twilight and went astray. This girl was originally an independent film Yizhihua, but she was smashed to death by a commercial film.
