little boy

The story draws on the background of World War II and the perspective of a little boy to show the
beliefs of the people who lived in this small town by the sea in California during the war, and everything the actor littleboy did (to ask the priest how to get his father back , At the end of the town where it was received, move the mountain with ideas, and at the dock to end the war with ideas.) I
just hope that the father who participated in the 2nd war will return home safely. The priest and Hashimoto both played an indispensable role in this belief. For the role, the priest gave directions, and Hashimoto gave the process. My mother’s beliefs were shown to us most directly in the dialogue with the doctor, but I will always be mrs james busbee.
I believe that busbee also has the belief that he will continue to live and return to his family on the battlefield.

The trauma brought by war to ordinary people is huge. In the war, people will lose their closest relatives. Humans should always be alert to the outbreak of this war. Perhaps this is what the director wants to express, but the whole film is not heavy, and there is a humorous scene.

Belief is very important, but reality... The busbee family is lucky.

The little boy played very well.

Little boy, I didn't expect that the inspiration came from the name of the first actual combat atomic bomb. The ambition of the main creator is big enough. The character setting of the little boy and the structure of the whole film are a bit funny, so one star is deducted.

Little Boy quotes

  • Fr. Crispin: If we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move the mountain. If we can move a mountain, nothing will be impossible for us. Not even with ending this war... and having our love one back.

Ben Eagle Narrator: [thinking of the magician he had seen] I already knew someone who could move a mountain. I wondered if the source of his powers was the mustard seed.

  • [first lines]

Ben Eagle Narrator: [narrating] This is O'Hare, California. Back then it was nothing more than a sleepy fishing village, with a hill at the end of Main Street. Like you see in postcards. My story takes place on the home front, in the midst of World War II. That's me, the little fella.

    Photographer: [motioning to the youngest]

    Little Boy: Closer?

Freddy Fox: [ribbing him] Stop causing trouble, you midget.

Ben Eagle Narrator: Nobody in that town liked me much.

    Photographer: One, two, three.

    [flash]

Ben Eagle Narrator: I was eight years old. But the story really starts the day I met my dad. My only friend. My partner.

    Nurse Barbara: He's a boy!

    James Busbee: Wow! He's so...

    Nurse Barbara: What? Little?

James Busbee: Well, he'll grow. Right?
