"The Edge of Democracy" is certainly not neutral, it is almost a leftist biography. Although the director does not conceal it, or even make a big fanfare, as an audience, at least he must understand this point before deciding on his position. Of course, we actually don't have to force ourselves to have a stand, after all, what you can see is the animation of the clay figure that has been pinched several hands. If you want to see more truth in the true and false, how can you just read a book.
Don't get me wrong, I am not accusing this book, I am summarizing everything. It's not that I don't like this book, I like it very much. I think anyone who prides itself on the surface or in his bones, or who is adept or clear-minded, can like it. What do you think?
It's just that, through a work, what is created is explaining, expressing and transmitting, and what is on the other side of the screen is not seeking self-explanation and identification. When you look at it, in addition to seeing what it says, you can also think about what it has blocked. If you think about it, in addition to thinking about what you saw, you can also see what you have overlooked.
Even the most "just", "outrage", or "urgent" expressions should be subject to such scrutiny. Even though there are too many correct and timely "submissions to power" in history, I still feel that a truly solid and upward history should not be based on fragile and precarious events, but should be procedural justice that can withstand scrutiny. .
But I still gave four stars to the work itself, after all, it successfully fulfilled the original intention of the creation.
