Soldier's Song

After watching this 1959 Soviet Soldier's Song, I had to sigh, like a few other pre-70s movies I haven't seen, it's old but really good. It's a war movie, but it's the least war movie like a war movie. It's a love story, a simple, simple, glowing love story that really touched me. The narration at the beginning of the film has already told us that this is a tragedy. The 19-year-old soldier and his mother who went home to visit relatives said a few words and left immediately. He said that he would definitely come back, but bid farewell to his hometown forever. This set the tone for the film. The subsequent battles made contributions, and all the joys on the way home made people feel less at ease. The love between the male and female protagonists made me even more heartbroken, tempted, and heartbroken. The heroine's performance in the film amazes me. The real, innocent and nuanced expression of emotions is deeply imprinted in my mind. It's so beautiful! Compared with today's pop-pop love and the fast-food love of Hollywood hero beauties, there is no hormonal explosion and vivid fragrance, but what she leaves us is true love that penetrates deep into the soul and heart. This is the love movie I want to watch. Why is something that someone did more than 50 years ago, but no one can do now?

I have to admire the screenwriter, let all the splendor and all the regrets in the movie happen in a reasonable way. I thought that the Soviet movies of the 1950s must be similar to mainland movies, and the dead race has an advantage. Who knows that the more the plot unfolds, the more beautiful it will be. In the end, it is completely road adventure plus a small fresh style, and the protagonist is still very pursuing! In the end... this boy is so handsome, so handsome, so handsome! Absolutely handsome without any dead ends! TT port TT)

Putting aside its unpleasant ideological atmosphere now, [Song of Soldiers] is essentially a road film with roots in its roots. I don't know why, Qian Su's main melody film is always impressed by its perverted photography. Whether the film is close-up or long-distance in close-ups, whether the lens is still or in motion, the composition and scheduling of the film are seamless, and every frame of the picture is beautiful. Especially the love scenes and the ending mother’s running montages are simply touching.
