Every word is written into a book, and every visit is more affectionate

One afternoon during the internship, I remember that the air conditioner seemed to be turned on at that time. My work required half past five, it was a Saturday afternoon, and it was three o'clock in the afternoon after my lunch. Remembering that I haven't seen a movie for a long time, I turned on my computer and started to search for the movie I liked in the downloaded movies.

I saw it at a glance.

I still remember that this movie is my after-heat after watching "The Bookstore". After reading the bookstore, I have been searching for movies about books, and I want to see how other people tell stories about books. My ideal movie about books is quiet and peaceful, and all intrigues and tricks can only be muted in front of the book, because those are all on the book, and it is not yet anyone's turn to be presumptuous. Even if there is a fight, it is because of the book and it ends because of the book. I opened the film with this prospect and imagination.

This movie is much older than I thought, and I always knew about the existence of this book, but I didn't know it had been made into a movie so early. I was a little surprised at first.

The beginning is the ending. This setting is actually very interesting. It lets you already know the ending of the story, which guides you to imagine its passage. Why is it like this?

The heroine comes to London with a vision of London, but her purpose is to see the people and bookstores with whom she has been communicating. Now it seems that the bookstore is empty. When she is far away, she can still communicate with it. When she comes to the bookstore, it is already empty. Life is indeed full of these misplaced regrets, and it will never be complete.

At first, I saw it in the newspaper. Actually, it's just such a corner, but you just saw it. Isn't fate just talking about this relationship. Sometimes one really needs to take the initiative, and scholars often do not take the initiative, and the scholars I know don’t like to show their opinions too much (but they are actually talking about myself haha), once the scholars take the initiative, it starts, I believe This relationship will get you more or less what you want. That's how they started, under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom, in the free United States, they are connected with words, books. Nothing else. They express their thoughts in correspondence, and they are not afraid of being ridiculed or questioned. They just talk candidly. This relationship is really good. The feelings piled up by the words seem to be more real, simple and strong than the general chat. What words need is imagination, and the love in imagination is the most beautiful in the universe. It is sincere and warm, unparalleled, and people are often intoxicated by it. People read books, books can also read people, people can write, and words can also write a person. The connection between words and books is usually the human soul. This connection is unrealistic, illusory and often regrettable. Their love between words cannot exist in this world. Once they are taken out, they will be broken, and once broken, they will cease to exist. If you don’t want to meet each other, it’s the connection between people who read books and people who write books. For those who are connected through books, it’s better if you know each other and don’t want to see each other. Just leave that little imagination.

Speaking of which, my dream is to open a bookstore, but according to my current ability, I can only open it in my own room.

The book-related, really, is full of regrets.

  • The Print Buyer: Do you have any color prints? A man, I can't remember his name, does pictures of people. They're composed of objects, you know: fruit, flowers, cauliflowers, cabbages. The faces. 18th or 19th century. French, I think. Sort of, grotesque. Very highly colored.

George Martin: Sort of fruit and vegetables?

    The Print Buyer: Yes, yes.

    George Martin: Ah. Giuseppe Arcimboldo.

  • Helene Hanff: Yorkshire pudding out of this world. We have nothing like it. I described it to someone as a high, curved, smooth, empty waffle.
