A lifetime of smoke

I watched a movie a long time ago, probably when I was in high school, and now it has been five years before I wanted to write a movie review. There are still very few people who like this film, but this film is my favorite one, bar none. I read it many times, not every time there will be new ideas, but every time I can experience the pain, unable to struggle, unable to speak, unable to escape, unable to let go. I can't say how good it is, but you can only understand the protagonist's obsession with the violin if you have experienced it. The keynote of the whole film is love, because he met such a person that his violin playing has a soul, and his performance is full of emotion, otherwise it is just a technique, and it cannot be called art.

It's not so much the protagonist's wife that kills the protagonist, but love. Although his wife smashed his most cherished violin, what broke him the most was that the love of his life had forgotten that he had already been a wife and had grandchildren. So many years have passed, and it was only a short pass to recognize her, and it was useless to be affectionate. And that violin was also the one he played for her back then. And the most regrettable thing is that she has never forgotten for a moment.

The most hateful thing about this movie is that no one is the bad guy. His wife had waited for him to love him for so many years, but he did not give her a trace of love. But don't blame him, love is unreasonable.

All are lambs living in the fog looking for love, you and I are just a puff of smoke in the end.

True art can only be called art if it passes through the depths of the soul.
