live in your inner world

The world projected inside is the world that truly belongs to you.
The first reaction after watching the film was that Sean killed Dad by mistake; but after reading the comments, I was messed up. Do you believe in childhood memories, or in the stamps posted by a criminal? Everyone makes mistakes and will experience regrets, apologies, self-blame, etc., but life is a new beginning every day, everyone says Sean is abnormal, but this child who seems abnormal to others treats himself as punishment The "justice" incarnation of evil, under this logic, the behavior itself is difficult to define right and wrong.
All the subtexts point to Dad, and the interlaced scenes of alcoholism and violence are like a kind of hypnosis. The difference between make mistake and criminal is that the former is repentant, while the latter is completely unapologetic.
Sean's psychological problem was that he blamed his mother's death in part on his own cowardice, he was just a child and instinctively avoided harm, but the pain of losing his mother and witnessing the process of death took a toll on his stimulation beyond recovery. The invisible wounds are more painful and cruel.
For Sean, move on means complete revenge. Those exercises to build strength, whether fighting or shooting villains, were processes for him, and the presence of the female police officer, the same part of both cases, brought them together. . .
After watching the forbearance and planning of Xiaoyou's depression, waiting for revenge, the plot that these scenes did not fully show made me feel deeply.

Boy Wonder quotes

  • Roy: Pretty exotic for a Brooklyn homicide.

  • Sean Donovan: [showing a photo] Due process. This was my mother, detective. She taught little kids music. S'not like she died in a car accident, or died of cancer. She was murdered. Murdered trying to protect me. Somebody made the decision to end her life. That piece of shit walks around every day, going through it like it never happened. Due process.
