The two regulars of the romantic comedy, the obvious sister and brother, thought it would be a romantic comedy, but I didn't expect it to be such a depressing story, but fortunately, it still has meaning.
The film tells the story of how two people who lost their relatives due to a murder case went through the trial of the case, gradually came together, and finally got out of the haze with mutual support.
When I watched this film, I began to admire that the themes of American film and television dramas cover all levels and angles of society. There are indeed some people in this world who are different from others who have lost their relatives due to natural reasons. In their hearts, hatred is even more than sadness. Starting a life path, with no instant coaching sessions, no textbooks to follow, and ultimately on their own. The theme of this film is a bit like "Five Minutes in Heaven" that I watched two days ago, but it is far less direct and straightforward than "Heaven". After all, a very important line of this story is about love.
The emotional line of the film is still very reasonable. The first love between the two at the wedding was basically a matter of course, and it didn't feel too abrupt. It's just that little Kutcher is too dumb. When he expresses anger, he only bites his lip. When he expresses sadness, he can't take his eyes away. He is also in his thirties, and his eyes are empty. He began to sigh that his marriage with Demi was good or bad for his career. The good thing was that he could always play the leading role. The bad thing was that he didn't have enough space to hone his acting skills.
