"Wolf Rain" - Helpless Reincarnation

When I just finished watching it, I had an indescribable feeling in my heart.

The overall tone of the plot is indeed rather gray and sad.

Although the process of watching is a bit depressing, it is the driving force to watch.

Because I hope the ending is good, I hope to see them find "Paradise" sooner.

I have been chasing and looking forward with them. . .

But. . .

The story begins with a snow-white wolf lying in the snow, dying for breath, and it kicks off. . .

"Langya" has been following his own beliefs and intuitions, constantly looking for the Moon Flower Girl in reincarnation to open the ideal "paradise". . .

On the way, he encountered the cold "Wolf Claw", the enthusiastic "Wolf Beard", the simple "Wolf Howl" and the "Bru" who is a wolf dog. Of course, there are also the poor "humans" and the so-called "nobles".

After many twists and turns, finally, the "paradise" opened, and a new world began to germinate.

But. . . Sacrificed all living creatures, good and bad.

Flowers begin to bloom, everything is so harmonious and beautiful.

The new is the new, so crystal clear that nothing can be compared with that depressing, dirty past life.

But all creatures still have their destiny, and the flower destined to be polluted by evil eyeballs is still blooming there. . .

The ending of the story is that "Langya" seems to have awakened his faith again and began to run in the rain. . .

A new reincarnation will begin gradually following his footsteps. . .

In fact, the beginning of a story is the end, and the end is the beginning.

Although it is said that when the stubborn old man was dying, he really resolved his hatred for wolves and stroked "Wolf Howl";

and "Wolf Howl" also fulfilled his promise to protect the old man to the end. His wish, because he has always been brooding about his failure to protect the old woman.

Maybe someone said that they went to the "paradise" in their minds with peace of mind.

But why not a real "paradise"?

Which is the real "paradise"?

I was thinking about the last human being who died, what did he think when he fell off the cliff?

Is it despair immersed in hope? Or put it this way: Is it better to be immersed in hope in despair?

Don't like this reincarnation, feel like an idiot.

But aren't we in this cycle now?

Helpless, unable to break through. . .

I can only feel my powerlessness and insignificance. . .

Wolf's Rain quotes

  • Hige: Come on, we're friends now, right?

Kiba: Coming from you, that sounds kind of fishy.

  • Toboe: I never meant to kill anything. Granny, she . . . I was all alone at the entrance to the dome, and she was so nice. She said I was so little, my eyes had barely opened.

[Toboe holds up the four white bracelets on his right fore-arm]

Toboe: She gave these to me, and we lived together ever since.

Tsume: You mean she kept you as a pet. You were tamed, nothing more than an obedient dog.

    Toboe: I wasn't! I . . . I only . . . I wanted to protect her. But she still . . .

Tsume: She still threw you out?

Toboe: She still died. She died. I let her die.
