I haven't read the Japanese version. After watching the US version, I feel that this film is a mystery. In some places, I don't understand
the sequence of events like this, right?
After the horse farm owner and his wife adopted the little girl, there were always disasters on the island. The little girl was still awake. After the cruel father sent her to the mental hospital, the island returned to normal (this is what the doctor on the island said) Later, her mother simply pushed the little girl into the well and killed it. She hung up after seven days under the well. After she hung it up, the horses on the racecourse went crazy. Her mother had a phantasy and finally jumped off the cliff. So did her father. I always heard her muttering in her ears, and in the end she committed suicide.
But the videotape was a brain projection of the little girl’s mental hospital (at first I thought it belonged to her mother, but after a closer look, I found it was not). According to the videotape, this little girl The girl knew that all this would happen before she died. The doctor in the mental hospital advised her to "don't hurt my mother", and she also replied "Yes, and won't stop."
That said, the little girl was a reminder when she was alive. A ghost leaning over is not a good thing.
It's not like that in a novel that turns into a ghost after being killed by your parents .

It's still a lot worse than the Japanese version, it's probably a matter of cultural differences, but it's still a relatively successful remake.

There is no plot in the Japanese version, but it is bloodier than the Japanese version
