A decent thriller

The tone of the movie is what attracted me to watch it for the first time. Maybe it was because I watched too little, so I felt fresh.
Generally speaking, the movie is not bad, the plot may be a bit weak, but the rhythm is barely tight. The various characters that I had been expecting were stupid, but they didn't get what they wanted, and there were very few unexpected slots.
If you are watching the movie as the protagonist of the town sheriff, you will find that in the film, for example, the discovery of footprints, the loss of horses, and the discovery of deer corpses...etc. have already exposed the plot of the identity of the monster. When you are going to complain to the mentally disabled sergeant in the film, you think about it carefully and realize that this setting is very reasonable.
Because from the interspersed conversations, it’s not difficult to see that the townspeople in the small town trust the protagonist as the sheriff very much, and suddenly a monster attack such a ridiculous thing in the small town, in a rational and experienced In the eyes of the police chief, it must be to stabilize the people's mind, collect hard evidence, and after confirming the true situation, he quickly assumed the responsibility to protect the safety of the people in the small town.
The few family plots in the film describe the contradiction between the protagonist and his ex-wife in a one-sided manner, and it comes from the lost eldest son Tim in the family. And the younger son experienced the pain of bereavement, the precocious maturity of his parents after the divorce... All of these can be regarded as pressure from the family. While shouldering this pressure, the male protagonist also has to face the pressure brought about by his career, the trust and expectation of the residents of the town.
This film can be regarded as a qualified science fiction thriller, but it is far from a horror film, although the plot story is a monster that is not strange. But what the film really wants to express is more likely to lie in the responsibility to the family, the ethics of the police, and the understatement of "damaging the environment".
Finally, the only thing that makes me think the biggest slot is the reversal of the ending of the movie. Personally, I think it’s enough to shoot a happy ending. After all, I saw it as a drama in the end, and the reversal of the bloody bridge that suddenly popped out, and Forcibly pulled me back into the frame of this thriller horror film, and what was caught off guard was just like being raped... During the
famine, you might be able to watch this movie to kill time.
