The first two hours of "Bohemian Rhapsody" are all foreshadowing, just for the highlight moment of LIVE AID, in order to make this highlight moment more dazzling, at the last moment before the performance, Freddie found JIM and found him sick. The time was two years earlier (in fact, according to Jim, Freddie was diagnosed with the disease in 1987). All of this is to make LIVE AID look like the release of Freddie's entire life, dreams, and energy. When I watched it, I really felt that this section was very burning, and my eyes were red. But be realistic, it's not fair, such a thick filter underestimates the rest of the queen, and also underestimates Freddie. Take the matter of betting all the remaining lives on music. If you take a picture of Freddie recording a song on the hospital bed-when someone writes a sentence, he records a sentence, because he knows that he won't be able to wait for the day when the song is finished. Up. I think I will cry more fiercely.
There are barriers to this film, at least to have an understanding of the history of Queens and Freddie's life. I am not a fan of the Queen, and my knowledge of the band’s works is limited to the masterpieces involved in the film. It is useful to do my homework before watching the movie. For example, there is a conversation between Freddie and Mary that is very similar to Yin Tianchou and Liu Piaopiao possessing. If I don't go to work, do you support me? I will take care of you forever. In fact, at that time Freddie had nothing but music dreams, his life and even music were supported by Mary's hard work.
The whole movie's shaping of Freddie's feelings, how do you say it, a special straight male perspective, this may be derived from the emotions of others in the Queens band. I admit that Mary is indeed a great woman, she may even be Freddie's spiritual support. But in the film, Freddie always showed the expression of "this affection can be a recollection, but it was already at a loss." It's a bit... I feel that the movie has been crying out: Freddie, why don't you love Mary? If the person you love is Mary, then everything is Perfect, you will not be criticized or even die so early. Freddie may have asked himself this question, but this matter is not a choice. The movie portrayed Paul as a villain, and it should be out of such a pity. As for Jim, as the person who accompanied Freddie to the end of his life, the movie had to be mentioned, but it was just a glimpse.
The movie ignores almost all the discordant parts of Freddie's life, and it is smoother than Hollywood hero movies. I admit that this kind of shooting is very pleasing to the fans. Their idol is brilliant from birth, with a mouth full of brilliance, blooming at the apex of art, enjoying a peaceful life for a period of time and then dying, and his spirit will last forever.
Seriously, I also hope that all of this is true.
