Mechanical Enemy

[Simply put]

Hollywood has always burned money for blockbuster movies, and this [Mechanical Enemy] is no different. Although I don't like Hollywood's method of film assembly line, but from the visual sense, the mechanical public enemy is still worth seeing.

Regarding robots, there are very few movies with both scenes and depth. Public Enemy Mechanical has obviously spent very little effort on the connotation of the film. In the discussion of the relationship between robots and humans, it is almost unconcerned, and he is not prepared to go into it in the slightest.

The three famous laws of Asimov have actually become an excuse for the plot of the film itself in this film. This is why I like Mamoru Oshii's works. Oshii Mamoru's films are full of contemplations about life and the future, as well as humans and robots.

I, Robot quotes

  • [when he is about to be deactivated, or taken "off-line"]

Sonny: I think it would be better not to die, don't you?

  • Granny: [as Spooner was about to sneak up on her] Did you talk to Marci?

Detective Del Spooner: [hanging his head] No, G.G., I haven't talked to Marci.

Granny: When I was coming up, we didn't just marry someone, then divorce them and then not talk to them.
