Was scared by the female pig

Even if it is a horrible classic among the population, I have to feel that the film is boring and nonsensical.

After reading the analysis of n versions, no one line alone can make a reasonable explanation. If all lines exist, then the film will become a farce. It seems that there is only one explanation that is more reasonable. There is a woman who is so ugly that she can scare the ghost to death. The husband and the child are frightened by this face for a long time, so the husband goes crazy and the child has schizophrenia.

Jack Nicholson's acting skills are quite good, nothing to say! Facial expressions alone can interpret a perversion incisively and vividly.

Later, I learned that the changes to the original work were quite large. I guess the screenwriter was embarrassed to admit that his various explanations were unclear, so he had to use mystery to open up everyone's imagination.

I say that nonsensical scary does not mean scary. I suggest you to watch "Hypnosis" in Japan. It is innocent and scary, but it is truly horrible.

Excluding the soundtrack of the camera, watching this kind of film at this age and this era is really irritating, and it’s annoying to shoot so long.

Appreciate the sense of feet in the few shots taken, such as danny riding a trolley around the hotel, such as running in a maze, such as the highway at the beginning. Other general.

The Shining quotes

  • Jack Torrance: [disappointed at finding the bar empty] God, I'd give anything for a drink. I'd give my goddamned soul for just a glass of beer.

  • Delbert Grady: Did you know, Mr. Torrance, that your son is attempting to bring an outside party into this situation? Did you know that?

    Jack Torrance: No.

Delbert Grady: He is, Mr. Torrance.

    Jack Torrance: Who?

    Delbert Grady: A nigger.

    Jack Torrance: A nigger?

    Delbert Grady: A nigger cook.

    Jack Torrance: How?

Delbert Grady: Your son has a very great talent. I don't think you are aware how great it is. That he is attempting to use that very talent against your will.

Jack Torrance: He is a very willful boy.

Delbert Grady: Indeed he is, Mr. Torrance. A very willful boy. A rather naughty boy, if I may be so bold, sir.

Jack Torrance: It's his mother. She, uh, interferes.

Delbert Grady: Perhaps they need a good talking to, if you don't mind my saying so. Perhaps a bit more. My girls, sir, they didn't care for the Overlook at first. One of them actually stole a pack of matches, and tried to burn it down. But I "corrected" them sir. And when my wife tried to prevent me from doing my duty, I "corrected" her.
