The middle-aged Julieta was about to start a new life, but was accidentally pulled into that sad memory by the news of her daughter. The young self regretted the quarrel caused by suspicion before her husband died at sea, and her daughter could not bear the blow of losing a loved one and left her. The film takes her daughter's loss of her son, and the empathy caused by the pain closed the loop of her years of pain. Maybe many accidents just happen naturally, like sitting on a bald middle-aged man who is about to commit suicide, or a reindeer chasing a train. When the accident comes, we can not indulge in the past, blame ourselves, live in the present, and look to the future is the most precious thing. I believe that Julieta will forgive her father after reconciling with her daughter.
This film and Nanni Moretti's "The Son's Room" have the same theme. The pain of losing a loved one needs to be slowly dissipated by persistent and tender love.
PS: Ending song
If you don't leave me
I would like to dedicate my life to you
If you don't leave me
you will see the real me
you will have
few people have
as perfect as you
never ending love
i would give everything
I just want to see you again
My dear
If you don't leave me
you will make me cry
like a child
If you don't leave me
it will be the end of the world
My world can only hold you
please don't go i beg you not to go
If you don't leave me
that moment
i will die
