There is an invulnerable flaw

The most critical suspense in the whole movie is the gun that fired four shots, but has never been able to find the gun that mysteriously disappeared, and this suspense has always existed with me throughout the filming process! And at the moment when the mystery at the end of the film is revealed, I suddenly realize that this is indeed a coup! What a trick to kill with a knife and escape from Jin Chan!

But after thinking about it (well, suspense films are afraid to think about it!) There are some flaws about the fingerprints on the gun! The old man changed the gun for a short time when the police saw his wife, but when the police inspected the physical evidence, wouldn't they not check the fingerprints on the gun? In such a short time, the old man has to change the gun and wipe off the fingerprints on the gun. The time is a bit unreasonable!

It would be more convincing if the movie could give a picture when the prosecutor spoke out the flaws at the end, especially the picture of the fingerprint on the gun!

It's nitpicking, and overall it's a suspenseful movie worth recommending!

Fracture quotes

  • Willy Beachum: [after discussing decorating styles with his secretary over the phone while he is in Crawford's house] What style would you say this is?

Detective Flores: Oh... I'd say homicidal modern.

  • Ted Crawford: You really need to be nice to me now, Willy.

    Willy Beachum: Why?

Ted Crawford: Because... what's left of a life depends on a machine powered by a cord that leads to a plug in an electrical outlet... and I decide when it gets pulled. That's why.
