It's a game, please don't take it seriously

Emotionally alone, the tragedy of the story is that the valet treats it all as a game, and the baron's daughter mispays her heart for a moment.

John is hateful. He used Julie's likes and obtained her body to satisfy his vanity, and to cover up his inferiority complex. He found his self-confidence in belittling Julie.

It's a pity that Julie's mother told her when she was ten that love makes people slaves, taught her to mistrust and to hate all men. Still, she had romantic and pure expectations and fantasies about love, and she was full of anticipation when she heard John describe her future life.

After having sex, the two decide to run away with the money before the Baron comes home, John doesn't let Julie take her canary, he kills her canary like he kills her.

But when the Baron returned home, John realized that he was a damn servant boy, he couldn't get rid of his identity and left with Julie, so he induced Julie to end it all with suicide.

At the end of the story, Julie was like Ophelia lying in the stream with flowers, her little brook took her life, with her flowers.

And there's no wind there.
