my humble opinion

To be honest, this movie is really sweet. I hit it hard! ! ! ! Although it was said that the two of them were only political marriages at first, but they gradually developed feelings in the later interactions. Isn't this love after marriage? *-*

ah, be honest

This time I want to talk about 3 aspects:

1. Rule the country with compassion

Akbar the Great would have spared monarchs or warriors captured on the battlefield at a young age. For this, we can still say that it is because he is still young and does not have the battle-tested tyrant style. But he still did so when he had grown up, had established himself as a monarch, and was pushing the Mughal empire to expand outward. This shows that in the heart of Akbar the Great, he is always compassionate and peaceful. I think this may also be one of the important factors that helped him complete the unification. Gentle words are often the most powerful. I think I understand a little more about the power of religion than before.

But at the same time, I would like to express my admiration for people like us in China. I still remember the "Jiao Yulu" that I finished with my grandmother on CCTV when I was a child. At the time, I didn't understand why my grandmother had tears in her eyes, but as I grew up, I understood how it felt. No matter what period it is, there are always such people who come out to touch us and change the world.

2. A momentary distraction can change the final outcome

This is a sentence that the princess and her brother said when they compared swords and when the princess and Akbar the Great compared swords, and it touched me very much. No matter what you do, focus will always be the primary productive force. For me, focus is to follow my heart from beginning to end, and do it all in one breath. Just like if I want to make a PPT, then I will never go to dinner before I finish it. First of all, inspiration is something that can't be found; second, focus needs to be exercised and maintained. Just like if you dozed off in a math class, you might need five classes to catch up with others, and you might even be down there forever. (I am a good example myself >*<). Focus!

3. Tolerance is the first guarantee of peace and happiness

In the beginning, the marriage between the princess and Akbar the Great was not a happy one. Their religious beliefs and customs are so different, and the reason why they finally got love is that they found "tolerance". Setting up an altar in the dormitory won him the heart of the queen. And the abolition of the worship tax has won him the hearts of the majority of the people. Tolerance, from ancient times to the present, has been the first guarantee of peace and happiness. Whether it is between individuals, between groups, or even between countries. Just as we are building a community with a shared future for mankind and rebuilding the Silk Road economic circle, today's world is no longer a situation of fighting alone.

It turned out to be a love movie at the end.

"Once Upon a Time in India", "Ashoka", "Emperor Akbar"... Indians seem to have never made any rigorous historical works, although they are joking, but for its sophisticated production and joy, I can't bear to only play Samsung.

Jodhaa Akbar quotes

  • Todar Mal: [DVD English subtitles by Nasreen Munni Kabir]

[Akbar and Jodhaa, in private argument]

Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar: I don't understand?

Jodhaa Bai: No, you don't! You know how to wage war and conquer. But do not know how to rule.

Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar: [confused] What did you say?

Jodhaa Bai: That you have only conquered me, but not won my heart yet... you should have at least tried to know what really happened. But the truth is that you are far removed from reality. You do not know how to win hearts. To do that, you need to look into their minds, discover their little pleasures and sorrows. And win their trust. Be one with their heartbeat! And the day you will succeed in doing that, you will rule my heart.

[2nd scene later, Akbar visits Agra Bazaar disguised as a commoner, accompanied only by two trusted court ministers, Todar Mal and Mahesh Das]

Todar Mal: Your Majesty, why are you doing this? Roaming in the bazaar without guards is dangerous.

Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar: Don't worry. No one will recognize me. I'm doing it since there's a difference between conquering and ruling. To win the hearts of people, one must look into their minds.
