love this film

Can't explain why I love it in details. Just feelings, maybe it reminds me those days back in my grandmother's house located in a sub tropical small village. Maybe it is the way they talk the way they walk. Maybe...who knows.

But if you watch it one day, you got to get hold on the film making trivials too. Although it is called "trivials", but it is so fun to get to know how they made things happened. By the way did I tell you that the director of this film, yes, looked like a smaller size Andrien Brody? In white, yes, he is all in white in that film trivials. Very attactive. Also the scene of they trying to catch up the running Dajeeling train .

Well I can't just tell you every emotional stir that I got from enjoying the film. It is just so impressive that I had to watch it again. Just now.

Ok I will leave it to you to judge by yourself whether it is worth a 5 stars recommendation.

Only Wes Anderson's film, I always forgive it for being too romantic, airy, childish and hardly thinking about reality and human society.

The Darjeeling Limited quotes

  • Peter: [upon discovering that Jack's ex-girlfriend left her perfume in his suitcase] Could she be gaslighting you?

    Jack: What's gaslighting?

  • Jack: Which direction did your's go?

    Francis: What do you mean?

Jack: Your feathers... mine blew toward the mountains

Francis: That's not right. It's not suppose to get blown away. You're suppose to blow on it then bury it.

Peter: I didn't get that. I still have mine.

Francis: You guys didn't do it right. I asked if you read the instructions. You did it wrong... I tried my hardest. I don't know what to do.

Peter: I don't think Dad would've hated it.
