I can laugh at tragedy and cry at comedy

This is a comedy that actually made me cry. I haven't been so moved by a movie in a long time.
From the point of view of the soundtrack, every detail in the movie is handled perfectly, the silent movie, the soundtrack is so serious, especially the interview where the tramp girl introduced Chaplin to be a waitor, which is very typical. The three people's respective voices are distinguished by different timbres.
From the point of view of acting, after watching Chaplin, I know what an actor is. No wonder I think that the actors in the movies are nothing unusual or special. I can't see the acting skills. . The homeless girl's acting skills are also very good. Her joy, joy, excitement, sadness, depression, and occasional expectations are all clear at a glance.
From the structure of the plot and the way the story is told, the story is very interesting, and the plot is compact and concise, not procrastination or wordy at all. It can be seen that at the time of mass production of machinery in the Industrial Revolution, the working class was indeed exploited by the bourgeoisie. The lunch time was very short, and there was no reasonable time to rest and change shifts. Even going out for a cigarette had to clock in. Chaplin showed these heavy phenomena in a witty way. And the story developed slowly. During his journey of "pursuing personal happiness", he was sent to the police station several times, and how innocent he was, he couldn't help winning the sympathy and love of a large audience. So when he is happy, the audience is not consciously happy for him. The appearance of the homeless girl makes people feel that there are still such pure, kind and beautiful girls in this indifferent world and feel warm. The homeless girl goes to pick Chaplin out of the police station every time, and gives him every time. A big warm hug, such a happy appearance really made me feel so warm, and it really touched me when the two of them were thinking about having a small home.
And what moved me the most was at the end of the story. Chaplin finally got his job and flew away because he helped the homeless girl escape. The homeless girl was very sad and deflated and tried so many times. Immediately cheered for her, said not to give up, and motioned her to smile, the innocent girl smiled happily immediately, and the two walked hand in hand on the road of dawn, walking into the distance. Seeing this, my tears flowed down unconsciously. I think I was really moved by this interesting, inspirational and warm picture. The final scene was chosen at dawn instead of dusk. I think it symbolizes the two of them running towards a new hope. Although the ending is not clear, whether the two will really have their own home in the end is not so important. As long as never give up, with a smile is enough.
