This was one of the most anticipated movies of the year. After watching it, the disappointment was overwhelming. If I had known that he was the director of 'Life with a Glass of Wine', he would have lowered his expectations. When our hearts were just touched that little bit, it was over with joy. Clooney's performance of 'Purifying the Lead' is infinitely magnified because he is the Clooney who can't act. Well, he's finally getting old, not afraid of being ugly, suspicious of the connection between these two points.... Hate the compromise in the movie, he gave up selling those lands and the family reconciliation at the end, typical American drama weak, when life so easy? I like the music of the movie, the Hawaiian guitar is always lightly cheerful with the middle-class family conflicts, and the sadness is not over-exaggerated. Just like life itself, it is the most real thing except for Clooney's clumsy running. ......

    The director's films have never been my "wine". I like pure, deep pain, and I don't like this brisk, blending feeling. Although Sheng's questions are esoteric, I prefer Clooney's other "In the Clouds."

However, the death of a person does allow those around you to learn to forgive, let go, reflect, and improve their understanding of life. It wasn't until near the end that the film turned into a serious farewell ceremony.
