Honesty, for the devout believer, is really the foundation of inner peace. When the master lied and the nurse lied, they were both condemned in their hearts. Especially when the daughter lied, the pain in the heart was particularly intense. When asked to swear to Allah on the Qur'an, the nurse was unable to do so, because the inner voice told her that she would be punished for lying. The power of faith is awe-inspiring. For peace of mind, maybe I will eventually believe.
