There are no bad guys, but contradictions are unavoidable

I think the highest evaluation of a commercial film is "sound". The movie watching experience brought to me by this film is hearty. Soundness is an overall feeling, which is a combination of stories, characters, pictures, music and other aspects.

The story of the film is naturally smooth, and the contradictions that each node promotes the development of the plot are reasonable. The whole story has a plain narrative, sharp conflicts, calm and unhurried, all in one go. In the middle, I don't forget to intersperse a few passages that make people emotional. When the music of the convenience store sounded after the power was turned on, the expressions of several human members reminded me of the scene of Andy playing "West Wind" to the prison in "Shawshank's Salvation".

The characters, including the main characters of apes and humans, stand upright. Regarding each person alone, what he/she does is a reasonable choice based on his/her experience and personality, which is understandable, but in the context of the movie, it is placed in the context of the imminent conflict between the two species. , There is an irreconcilable conflict. Coba is the villain in the film, but his distrust and hatred of humans is not unfounded. The human harm to him penetrated into his memory, but there was no warm memory like Caesar, so he would take revenge on humans by all means. Maybe he has the expansion of personal power and desire, but his rebellious process is traceable, and he is not exactly a bad guy. There are no bad guys, but there are inevitable contradictions. This is the most brilliant screenwriter.

Other aspects such as pictures and music are also of high standards. Motion capture technology has reached an amazing level in the film. The expressions and eyes of the orangutans make them not human, but better than human. Caesar's actor Andy Serkis deserves a best actor award.

Finally, I want to talk about the contradiction between humans and apes. It is not that the two species have no chance to live together peacefully, but it is difficult. On the apes side, Caesar's feelings for humans and his courage can actually become a peace leader. However, there is already a mess of scattered sand on the human side, and there is no leader matching Caesar. Moreover, the fear of having just experienced disaster, the pride of the primates of all things, and the actual conflict of interest do not allow humans to choose to live in peace with apes. So knowing that the advantage is not on one's side, humans still have to choose to go to war with the apes.

Humans are the apes, and the apes are humans.

I think...this film is probably the ultimate face-blind...The orangutan is riding thunder to me, it's stranger than the orangutan talking and using a gun. Fu Lanlan appeared in the form of photos and videos, and the tears were called a poke and a quasi. At the end, there must be a third part. Dad has been acting all these years, embarrassed...

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes quotes

  • Dreyfus: [addressing the crowd] We've been through hell together! We spent four years, FOUR YEARS fighting that virus, and then another four fighting each other! It was chaos... But you all know what we're up against. And I want you to know, it's not just about power. It's about giving us the hope to rebuild, to reclaim the world we lost!

  • Malcolm: Apes do not want war.
