understand this man

Originally, I had little understanding and interest in Apple and Jobs himself, but because of Fa Shark's film, I was inexplicably kind to these two, and I would stop and read it when I saw the relevant news. This has to be said to be the success of the movie and the law shark.

Because I didn't understand it, I was basically indifferent to most of the first half of the story and was at a loss, but my heart trembled at the last conversation between Jobs and his daughter Lisa on the rooftop. To be more precise, he fell under the dialogue "I'm gonna put music in your pocket." by Fa Shaq. With the first 114 minutes as the foundation, coupled with Shasha's moving eyes and facial expressions, it finally worked.

The second brush, although he has a clearer understanding of the overall context of the film, but lacks a lot of background information, he still has a little understanding. Therefore, the point of this article is not to admire Joe for changing the world, to compare him and his successor, one is an artist and the other is a businessman, etc.; it is to understand this complex character from an emotional and psychological point of view.

People with high intelligence are not necessarily high in emotional intelligence, such as Sherlock Holmes. With insight and interests that ordinary people do not have, everyone is drunk and awake, standing out from the crowd, unable to communicate with ordinary people around, no one can understand, and even self-admiring. Naturally, emotional intelligence is not very high. It does not have the skills to make others comfortable. It does not have the self-consciousness to make others respected. Encounters with others generate sympathy and empathy, and show antisocial personality. And Jobs, Apple even treat
co-founder of the company's fruit Wozniak, also condescending.

There is also an important background for Jobs himself - being adopted. Abandoned by his parents at birth for unknown reasons; and then sent back to an orphanage by his first adoptive parents, a lawyer and his wife; fortunately, he was later adopted by the Jobs and his wife. As John said in the film, "Why do adopted people feel that they are rejected instead of selected?" He has always been bitter about being abandoned and betrayed twice, and he is more than grateful that he finally has his parents, so he has the current status. Knowledge and achievement. It is true that adoptive parents are the decisive external conditions for his success, but in the film he clearly agrees that his achievements stem from his own talent and hard work. As he puts it, "adopted means no control".

It was not until 106min that the audience knew that because the adoption of the Jobs and his wife involved a lawsuit, the adoptive mother refused to give love in the first year, which hurt him even more. He didn't understand why he could tell an innocent and cute baby to close the emotional gate and treat it in cold blood. Give up trying to get him into the family until the lawsuit is over. Therefore, he is extremely insecure and has a strong desire to control. Only by being in control can he not worry about gains and losses; he insists on seeing the level of stubbornness and never gives up.

In April 1976, 21-year-old Steve Jobs and 26-year-old friend Stephen Wozniak set up a computer company in their garage, named Apple by Jobs. In 1983, Jobs invited John Sculley, president of PepsiCo, to join Apple (CEO of Apple from 1983 to 1993). He thought they had the same world view and regarded him as a spiritual father.

However, he was wrong, there is no second person in the world who has the same three views as Jobs. He treats interpersonal relationships one-sidedly and absolutely, and his loyalty to friends is extremely demanding; he doesn't think about problems for others from the perspective of others; he doesn't listen, and only he speaks like a fart. In his eyes, the company must revolve around him, only he is the truth, and no "friend" can violate his wise decision; he cannot see any infidelity or betrayal in his eyes. Jobs was 30 when he was kicked out of Apple by the board in 1985, and John was 46. And John in the movie looks at least 60 years old. Is it because the French Shark is old?

Jobs is stubborn, so he won't admit defeat and was kicked out of Apple. He won't reflect on himself. Instead, he will target the "father" John who betrayed him. own black hand. In fact, as the CEO, John must be responsible for the overall situation of the company and explain to the sponsors of the board of directors, rather than blindly helping friends. When he is unable to recover, he can only follow the trend and make business decisions for businessmen. After Jobs resigned (the film confessed that he "killed" himself instead of being murdered), John suffered an unpredictable and heavy blow. Public opinion one-sidedly condemned him for treachery, and Jobs manipulated the media to rejoice.

The skeleton that supports the whole film is mainly the backstage dialogue before the three new product launches, including the "work wife's lover" Joanna, the co-founder Wozniak, the "father" Sculley who betrayed him, the illegitimate daughter Lisa, Lisa's mothers, journalists, etc. Among them, the conversation between Jobs and Wozniak is very good. Wozniak doesn't understand that he has done almost all the work of a computer from scratch, and the only famous "genius" Jobs who seems to do nothing, and Jobs replied "I am Conducting, fiddling with the orchestra; and you are a good musician."

In 1993, Apple was in trouble, and John Sculley was kicked out of Apple. In 1996, Jobs returned to the flag CEO in the midst of Apple's crisis and began to develop new products iMac and OSX operating system.

Backstage at the iMac conference, "work wife" Joanna tearfully asked Jobs to take the initiative to reconcile with Lisa. He has achieved unshakable success, but at the cost of having bad relations with all his friends and relatives, and Joanna, who has been supporting him unconditionally behind his back, no longer Unable to bear the guilt of the "accomplice", she used her resignation to stimulate Jobs' strong nerves and let him listen to her words. The gap between career success and family fiasco made Jobs unable to prepare for the press conference with peace of mind. He could not care about anyone's opinion, and even parted ways with co-founder Wozniak, but he couldn't just be strangers to Lisa.

Maybe, although I can't be "both humble and talented" in Woz's words, at least I can try to be a better father. But that means admitting that you were wrong, how could it be! But Joanna just pointed out one thing that was obviously wrong in her judgment, well, I will be wrong too.

Starting from 108 points and Sculley, the film changed to warm colors. Jobs, who was strict and punctual at the press conference, left the audience in the theater, just for the girl he loved the most, and he was really improving. Rooftop, "I'm gonna put music in your pocket." No matter how many times you play it, it will still fall! It's just, I don't know if I fell into the story of this Joe Gang master, or in the moving eyes of Shasha.
