A Brief Analysis of "The Witch"

It's really hard for a non-believer like me to understand this movie.

Only after seeing the last part did I know that the black goat was possessed by a demon, and bit by bit the house was torn apart, one child after another died. That crazy mother was giving me a headache and trying to sew her mouth shut every time I spoke. Dad is a subwoofer and a super conceited man. Tomasi, a poor, beautiful little girl, became the last sacrifice. However, that may be the only way to end it.

Also, the transitions of the whole film are fading to black, and the overall tone is black. I adjusted the brightness of the phone to the highest and still looked blurry. The ending really hurts.

Contrast the ignorance of the Middle Ages, and the atmosphere is in place. The father's lies and self, the mother's blindness and partiality, the elder brother's peeping and recklessness, and the two younger sisters' stubbornness and slander, make the pure-minded and somewhat stupid daughter become a witch. In fact, every character is sick, and they feel angry and indisputable. The unexpected is the ending. It really brings the strange feeling to "Ascension", and you win the director.
