Maybe that's the beauty of Moore's performance.

Boring. Find the movie you want to watch among the huge amount of Chinese and foreign movies.
Most of the classics have been seen, or have seen two or three times.
It's not easy to find a film that suits your taste.

See Defending Freedom. It's not a new movie, it's a blockbuster. But in the name of Jackson and Moore. I still opened the movie.

The life of an innocent four-year-old boy.
And the peaceful lives of those implicated blacks in the community.
The chaotic scene of the confrontation between the police and the black people.
There's also Moore's veiled attitude to hide the truth in this situation.
I really want to rush to the screen and slap this woman in the face.
Maybe that's the beauty of Moore's performance.

Anyway, it's still a good movie.
There is no wrong choice.

What a lousy movie. I can't watch it anymore. A mad woman is crying and talking about her lines.

Not so good. The plot was dragging and unattractive, and I really wanted to punch Julianne Moore's madman. I feel that the reason why Dad is not decisive is because after all, black people are still from disadvantaged groups. Are black people inherently bad or are they so bad when they grew up in a discriminatory environment? This is what the film gave me. How can people not be irritable under the pressure of discrimination and poverty?

Freedomland quotes

  • Lorenzo Council: I tell you, 22 years of policing in this city things I see day in, day out makes it very, very hard to have faith in humanity.

  • Lorenzo Council: You know, you aren't the only person I got to visit in here today. My son, Jason... he's over in the state wing doing two to four for armed robbery.

    Brenda Martin: No.

Lorenzo Council: Used my gun too.

    Lorenzo CouncilBrenda Martin: Oh, no.

Lorenzo Council: Yeah. All my friends say to me: "Lorenzo, it ain't your fault that boy landed where he did. He got to take responsibility for that his own self. I ain't seen no pacifier in his mouth the last 10 years." Well, between you and me, it is my fault. I do feel responsible because the kind of man he is the kind of man I showed him how to be. High all the time. Selfish. Out of control. I was never there on a day-to-day basis. And when I was, I was fighting with his moms. Yeah, well, that's who I was.
