Moraldo

Over the weekend, I bought the works of several masters in one go, mainly New Wave and Italian Neorealism.

"The Swinger" is a semi-autobiographical work by Fellini, a group of young people who are idle in a small town and have no way out. What I care about the most is that you can always spot the director at a glance in this group, the one who finally leaves and tells everything into a story.

Some people have something on them, even if they follow the trend, they always look strange, as if there is always light in their arms, like a phoenix living in the world, and one day they will fly away. Moraldo was recognized as soon as he appeared on the stage. Such a person always seems to be carrying some kind of mission. The heaven will give him a great responsibility, or it may be a mission that he puts on his shoulders. He seemed to be thinking, planning, and more soberly confused. He laughs with the others, makes trouble, does nothing, but seems to be there and not there.

On the streets at night, in the deserted city, in the night when the spring breeze is intoxicated, he often wanders, and often chats with a small railway worker, talking about simple things, but he always seems to have hope, and there is an inexplicable blockage. Such a person is probably like a question waiting to be answered.

It's like having something big in your hands, and you know someone like that can and will make a decision. Only such people make real decisions.

Those who said they wanted to leave still didn’t leave, and this person always frowned and didn’t say a word. At most, when his partners talked about Milan and Brazil, his mouth grew up unconsciously, showing a longing look, and then he wanted to speak again. end. But somehow you know that he will be different.

Some are like Honghu hiding in a swallow bird, but after all, everything is not doomed from the beginning. In the distance, standing alone on the platform, the whistle suddenly sounded from the right, and he turned his head sharply, looking at the slowly approaching train, but it had to.

The little railroad worker asked him if you were leaving, and he nodded and said yes. Don't you like it here, the little railroad worker asked, the train was leaving, he looked at the little railroad worker who was far away, but didn't answer, the sleeping people were drifting away with a roar, like in a dream boat, swaying and drifting away . The hometown is tied into a bun and coiled on the high moon.

I Vitelloni quotes

  • Sergio Natali: [to Leopoldo and his mates, who have gathered at Natali's dressing room to visit him] Forgive the candle. In these second-rate theaters, they always steal the light bulbs. May I offer you a cigarette? They're domestic, you know. American cigarettes are very bad for you.

  • Fausto Moretti: [reunited with Sandra, after his father has whipped him for his infidelities] You scared me so, Sandra. Never do that again, you hear?

Sandra Rubini: And if you make me mad again, I'll beat you like your father. But even harder. I'll beat you senseless.

Fausto Moretti: [starts to laugh] That's how I like you. Here, let me hold the baby
