relation between events

I always remember the confession that Aunt Mei left her daughter's diary in the film: writing these down is to let you understand the relationship between events.
If you live to 90 years old and start all over again, you will be the smartest person in the world.
I haven't read the original book, but I want to try to do an analysis of this relation myself.
Let's talk about Esteban first. His mother was seriously ill, mentally negative, and waited for death every day. Living in such a family made him just want to escape, to escape this ugly and unbearable life. But the elder sister swallowed her anger and shouldered the responsibility of taking care of her mother, forbearance and unwillingness. In such an environment, Esteban has developed a tough and conceited character. He can only rely on himself to change his destiny, and only when his destiny is truly in his own hands can happiness come.
Clara grew up in a peaceful and stable environment, free and happy. So she was carefree and innocent. It's just that the departure of her sister Rose has cast a shadow on her childhood, and she feels that her own prophecy indirectly caused Rose's death. Experiencing the fear of death, the grief of her parents, and peeping into the cruel reality of the autopsy, Clara planted the seeds of peace, perseverance, optimism, love and freedom in Clara's character. So, when faced with death again, she can go looking for her mother's lost head after a car accident with a big belly, bid farewell to Ferula's cold body gently, and say to her granddaughter at the last moment of her life, "Don't be sad, Grandpa, I will. Come back and take him away."
Esteban's sister Ferula felt the most real to me. because of her conflict. On the one hand, she had to abide by the social concept at that time, the younger brother could leave, but as a woman and a sister, she had to stay at home to take care of her mother; on the other hand, she was not reconciled to this, I WISH I WAS A MAN, listen She said so when her brother was about to leave. So in the beginning, when she saw the happy Clara, she was full of unease, jealousy, and maybe even revenge.
But Clara was so sincere, happy, and bright as an angel, hugging and kissing this strong woman who was never used to close physical contact, Ferula felt love and tenderness for the first time. The most exciting part was the confession scene with the priest. I watched the version without subtitles, and I didn't understand every sentence, but I felt her struggle: she loved her so much, and was so jealous of her, she was hot because of her desires , but also because of Clara's purity and beauty, it is difficult to restrain her admiration.
I, like Esteban, have always suspected that Ferula was wicked, but the truth is that when she was finally expelled and left, the only cursing was limited to her brother who never trusted her, and she was still full of gratitude to Clara love.
Esteban's anger and hatred for his sister were actually based on guilt and suspicion. The rich industry is based on his hard work every day for 20 years, but Clara's love is so beautiful, it came so suddenly and effortlessly, wouldn't it be unreal? You know, the love with Ross once was so unfortunate. So this tough man always has to find the right side for himself in life, and he needs a sense of reality to fight.
Blanca inherited Clara's splendor, Esteban's stubbornness, and the two people's insubordination. She fell in love with Pedro, the son of a wild colonial farm worker, and remained steadfast.
In fact, I don't think it's unfortunate for this family's last misfortune, it's a natural and smooth progress.
Esteban's youthful lust brought him both calamity and a turning point. The first illegitimate son joins the armed forces, hunts down Pedro, and abuses Blanca; another lover contacts high officials to rescue his abused daughter.
This is the relationship between events, and there is a cause and a seed before the effect.
Then, in his old age, he let go of his struggles and sharpness and risked his life to send Pedro to the Canadian consulate. Do you remember Clara, who was waiting gently at the door when she lost the election, and when her little granddaughter took his hand and said, "Grandpa, you should eat" when the house was empty? If Pedro is arrested and killed, her daughter Blanca will be as lonely and miserable as she was in the past when she lost her mother, her lover, and her sister.
Finally, when Clara came to the dying Esteban's bed and he shouted "Oh my angel", I remembered Ferula saying to the priest "she's like an angel". This angel saved the unfortunate family, a pair of unfortunate siblings; and because of his love for Esteban, this angel spoke again, bringing comfort to the old couple who had almost lost their two daughters.
After that, they left one by one, leaving love, hatred, and desire to their living children. Until finally, all confrontations found a balance. Blanca said, "I hated it before, but now I don't hate it anymore."
This story is so simple, cause and effect, relation between events
